The Future Leaders Scholarship is provided by the Westpac Scholars Trust and is offered to exceptional individuals who are enrolling in graduate degree by coursework or research in the areas of sustainable futures, technology and innovation, social change or Asia-Pacific leadership.
The University of Melbourne is one of the partner universities that delivers the Westpac Future Leaders Scholarship.
Benefits
The Westpac Future Leaders Scholarship provides the following benefits:
- Up to $120,000 over 2-3 years to cover the cost of study and living
- Enrolment in the Westpac Leadership Development Program
- Lifelong membership in the Westpac 100 Scholars Network

Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- have applied for admission to a graduate coursework or research degree at the University of Melbourne
- meet the Westpac Future Leaders Scholarship eligibility requirements

Eligible candidates will be selected based on demonstrated academic excellence, a desire and potential to lead and a bold vision to contribute to the growth and prosperity of Australia.

Register for the Online Information Session on Thursday 23 July 2026, 1.00 - 2.00pm AEST.
When will I know the outcome?
Applicants will be notified of the outcome in December.
