This scholarship supports VCA graduates studying with distinguished orchestral teachers in Europe- preferably in Holland - before becoming professional orchestra players.This scholarship is awarded triennially (2022, 2025, 2028 etc).

Eligibility and selection criteria

Eligibility

To be considered for this scholarship, you must be a final-year student of an orchestral instrument at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music

Selection criteria

Applications will be assessed by the selection committee on the basis of:

    • artistic and merit as demonstrated by previous academic achievement
    • career aspirations
    • travel and study plan
    • likely success in completing the proposed course of study or benefiting from the travel plan.
