Summary
The William Allan Stewart Bursary was established in 1999 with a gift from Dr Wiliam Allan Stewart and is offered to students who are enrolled in an undergraduate degree in agricultural or veterinary science and are experiencing disadvantaged circumstances.

This bursary provides a one-off payment of approximately $1000 (depending on the annual income from the gift).

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this bursary, you must:
- Be enrolled in a Bachelor of Agriculture, Bachelor of Agriculture (Degree with Honours), or Bachelor of Science (Degree with Honours) in Agricultural Science or Veterinary Bioscience (or their successors)
- Have not received the William Allan Stewart Scholarship.
Selection criteria
The bursary is offered to the student(s) ranked highest based on their financial assessment score. In the event of a tie, the bursary will be split equally.
Conditions
Students must agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and provide a note of appreciation or a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.
