Summary

The William Allan Stewart Scholarship was established with a gift from Dr William Allan Stewart and is offered to high-achieving students who are enrolled in the second year of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.

Benefits

This scholarship provides approximately $2500 per year for three years, paid in half-yearly instalments of approximately $1250 in April and September.

Eligibility and selection criteria

Eligibility

To be considered for this scholarship, you must be enrolled in the second year of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (or its successor).

Selection criteria

The scholarship is offered to the student(s) ranked highest based on their course Weighted Average Mark (WAM) for the first 100 points of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or the Veterinary Bioscience major in the Bachelor of Science (or their successors).

In the event of a tie, the award will be split equally.

Conditions

Students must agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and provide a note of appreciation or a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.
