Summary
The WP Greene Travel Scholarship was established with a gift from William Pomeroy Greene and is awarded to graduate researchers to support travel to present cancer-related research undertaken as part of their graduate research degree.
Benefits
This scholarship provides a one-off payment of up to $2,000 for domestic travel or up to $4,000 for international travel.
Recipients may only receive one scholarship per year.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- Be enrolled in a graduate research degree in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences and be undertaking research in a field related to cancer
- Have a principal supervisor who is a member of the Collaborative Centre for Genomic Cancer Medicine
- Have a research paper or poster accepted for presentation at a conference held in the application year (January to December).
Selection criteria
The scholarship is offered to the graduate researcher{s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on their faculty scholarship score.
Preference will be given to graduate researchers who have been invited to present research papers.
Conditions
Recipients must undertake travel in the calendar year the scholarship is awarded, or the scholarship will be withdrawn.
