​​The Wright Prize in Engineering Design was established with a gift from Robert Alexander Wright and is awarded to students with who demonstrate the most outstanding contribution to an Engineering Design–focused project in a final-year subject.​

Eligibility and selection criteria

Eligibility

To be considered for this ​prize​, you must:

  • Have been enrolled in a graduate coursework degree in the School of Electrical, Mechanical and Infrastructure Engineering in the year for which the prize is awarded
  • Have completed the subject Engineering Capstone Project Part 2 (or its successor).

Selection criteria

The ​prize​ is offered to the eligible candidate(s) ranked highest ​based on​ their mark for the subject Engineering Capstone Project Part 2 (or its successor).

In the event of a tie, the prize will be split equally.
