Graduate Research Scholarship Applications
This page outlines the processes for Graduate Research Scholarship applications for both:
- Graduate Researchers who are currently enrolled without a scholarship and wish to be considered for a scholarship
- Graduate Researchers deferring course commencement but needing to reapply for a scholarship
Refer to the below for information on your Faculty eligibility requirements and application process:

Current graduate researchers should contact abp-gradresearch@unimelb.edu.au for scholarship consideration.
ABP scholarships must commence the year for which they have been awarded, and cannot normally be deferred to the following year. Please contact abp-gradresearch@unimelb.edu.au for further advice if you cannot commence an awarded scholarship.

Do not consider current or deferred students for scholarship. If you wish to be considered for a scholarship in a future intake, you will need to submit a new course application for the relevant intake.

Automatic consideration on a rolling basis. No application is required.
