This scholarship was established with donations to the University of Melbourne 2006 Annual Appeal and offered to talented students undertaking a graduate coursework degree.

Benefits

An allowance of $5,000 per year for up to two years. The allowance is paid in instalments in April and September of each year.

Eligibility

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

  • be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen
  • have applied for and received an offer for a graduate coursework degree in a relevant study area at the University of Melbourne

Selection criteria

The scholarship is offered to students with the highest entry score taking in consideration the number of scholarships available.

Application

How to apply

Students who intend to undertake a graduate course with the Melbourne Graduate School of Education must submit a scholarship application. See: Future Generations Scholarship (Education)

Other eligible students will be automatically considered for this scholarship.

When will I know the outcome?

This scholarship is offered progressively by February (for courses commencing at the start of the year) or July (for courses commencing in the middle of the year).
