The Melbourne Relocation Scholarship is offered to domestic students from regional and remote areas in Australia, who completed Australian Year 12 and IB and are enrolling in an undergraduate course.
Benefits
This scholarship provides a one-off relocation allowance of $1,500 paid shortly after enrolling in their course.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or a holder of an Australian permanent visa
- be living in regional or remote areas of Australia
- have completed Year 12 or International Baccalaureate in Australia
- not have completed subjects undertaken as part of a tertiary course (excludes extension program subjects)
- have applied for a University of Melbourne undergraduate degree via VTAC for commencement in the year following completion of Year 12 or International Baccalaureate
- have applied for the VTAC Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS) under Category 1 Personal Information and Location (and other categories if applicable to your circumstances)
- meet the Access Melbourne entry requirements for the University of Melbourne course nominated in your VTAC application
- not be eligible for the Narrm Scholarship
Selection criteria
This scholarship is offered to all eligible students. Other scholarships offered to eligible students are taken into consideration.
Conditions
This scholarship is subject to the Coursework Scholarships Terms and Conditions and can be deferred to the following academic year. In addition, students must agree to give permission for the University to provide their name and course details to the

How to apply
Students are automatically considered if they have applied for admission to the University via VTAC Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS).
When will I know the outcome?
Scholarship offers are made a few days after the Victorian Year 12 ATAR are released in December. Further offers are made in January and February to students who have completed IB or Year 12 at a school outside Victoria.
