Summary
The Rao Family Bursary was established with a gift from Australia India Social and Charitable Ventures Limited through the Australia India Institute, and is offered to students in financial need. Preference is given to students who hold Indian citizenship.

Eligibility
To be considered for this bursary, you must:
- Be enrolled at the University of Melbourne
- Provide evidence of financial need
Selection criteria
This scholarship is offered to eligible candidates with the highest overall level of financial need, taking into consideration other forms of assistance received by the candidates. Preference is given to students who hold Indian citizenship.
Conditions
This bursary cannot be deferred to the following year. In addition, students must:
- Be enrolled at the University of Melbourne
- Agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and provide a note of appreciation or a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.
