Summary
The Walter and Muriel McConnan Scholarship was established with a gift from Nancy Isabel McConnan and is offered to students in financial need for the payment of fees, books, computers and/or the purchase of musical instruments and enrolled with the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- Be enrolled in a Faculty of Fine Arts and Music course at the University of Melbourne
- Provide evidence of financial need
Selection criteria
Eligible students are selected on the basis of financial need.
Conditions
This scholarship cannot be deferred to the following year. In addition, students must:
- Be enrolled as a full-time student in a course at the University of Melbourne. Students may be eligible to receive this scholarship while enrolled as a part-time student.
- Agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and provide a note of appreciation or a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.
