  • Eligibility & selection criteria

    Eligibility

    To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

    • be an Australian citizen or Australian Permanent Resident or holder of a permanent Humanitarian Visa; and
    • meet the criteria for entry to the Diploma in General Studies; and
    • enrol full-time in your course; and
    • reside in a regional area (Dookie Campus) for the duration of the course

    Selection criteria

    Selection is based on Academic merit.

    Preference will be given to:

    1. applicants who are Indigenous Australian or Torres Strait Islander;
    2. applicants from a disadvantaged financial background and a rural background;
    3. applicants from a disadvantaged financial background;
    4. applicants from a rural background.

What are the benefits?

These scholarships provide students in the Diploma in General Studies course with the opportunity to experience exceptional learning in a regional area of Australia.

An allowance of $15,000* per year (paid in half-yearly installments) will be provided to recipients to assist with study costs.

*up to $22,500 for students entering the extended program
