This scholarship is awarded to a first year Doctor or Master of Philosophy Science Physics candidate, who has completed a Master or Bachelor of Science (Honours) at the University of Melbourne in the School of Physics, on the basis of academic merit.

  • Eligibility & selection criteria

    Eligibility

    To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

    • Complete a Master of Science or Bachelor of Science Honours in the School of Physics, at the University of Melbourne, and
    • Be enrolled in the first year of a Doctor or Master of Philosophy Science research program in the School of Physics, at the University of Melbourne.

    Applicants who have been awarded the Dixson Scholarship in Experimental Physics or the Professor Kernot Research Scholarship in Physics will not be considered for this scholarship.

    Eligible candidates will be ranked based on:

    • Academic merit.
